If you call, I’m in Arizona, which is on Mountain Time when Daylight Savings Time is “off.” We’re on Pacific Time when it’s “on.”
I know, we’re hours from the Pacific Ocean but no one in the southern part of the state, where most of the population lives, wants an extra hour of sunlight in the summer when we often hit the mid-110s. The cooldown to the low 100s is a relief!
This isn’t really a big deal unless we’re on opposite sides of the continent during the warmer months and then I’m three hours behind you.
Interestingly, the Navajo Nation uses Daylight Savings but it’s also located in the northern part of Arizona and New Mexico. If it was a state, it would be the tenth largest!
